The American Song Track Music Awards LA, awarded Cedar Breaks new song “Ayre” Best American Song in the 2017 Festival.
Ayre premiered at festivals around the country including:
Utah, Arizona, New York, and California in September through October.
The band received a award for “Best of 2016” by the reports for the film festival magazine.
“Light” was the winner of the 2016 International Family Film Festival in Hollywood for “Best Short Musical” The story is told through a dancer racing to an audition and in a compassionate moment she is not able pass a stranger in need even though she might miss the audition. Cedar Breaks were nominated for “best country/folk song with “My Dog” and ‘Best rock song” for Ayre”
The band won with the song “Ayre” and is due for release on the new the new album “Myst Thread of Life” due out in 2017.
Filming begins for the music video for “Ayre” this month.
